Where do you ship to?
We currently ship PCBs in the USA, Mexico, and Canada
United States ships using USPS Priority 1-3 Day flat rate mail. FREE shipping to the US.
When can I expect my PCBs?
We will build and ship your PCBs within 2 business days of order placement. The USPS shipment time is an additional 1-3 days. (2 days to most major markets, and 3 days to surrounding areas)
How do you keep prices down?
EasyPCB relies on an automated, hands off tooling algorithm that cuts out much of the upfront CAM work. Also by limiting the features and choices we are able to panelize many of the EasyPCBUSA products together to produce very efficient panels for manufacturing. By offering so much info on the website and in your confirmation information we are able to keep our support resources to a minimum passing the savings to you. The onus is on you, the customer, to make sure that EasyPCBUSA is the right choice for your prototype PCB design.
What should I expect from my PCBs in terms of quality?
EasyPCBs are proudly manufactured in the USA to meet IPC-A-600 Class 2 specifications for workmanship and quality, when your design meets our minimum capabilities. Our quality system and lean manufacturing practices provide a consistent result every time you order.
Will my order be put on Hold?
We will not place your order on hold. It will be manufactured as is or it will be cancelled (see avoiding cancellations) and refunded*. EasyPCBUSA may charge a cancellation fee up to 50% to an order.
Why will my order be cancelled?
EasyPCBUSA will cancel your order if the files do not meet our requirements. See avoiding cancellations for detailed information.
What if my files do not contain an outline layer or outline on another layer?
If you do not provide an outline with your files we will create a rectangular outline for you, based on the size you entered on your order form. if your order form board size is smaller than the copper features in the files, rather than us manufacturing with cut-off circuitry, the order will be cancelled so you can check to ensure you’ve sent the correct board design.
What if my files do not meet your minimum standards (i.e. trace / space, hole size, internal clearances)?
Your design will be manufactured as submitted, however EasyPCBUSA will not warrantee that they will meet IPC-A-600 class 2 requirements. We will drill any hole size < 0.0135” with a 0.0135” drill, regardless of pad size. Traces < 0.006” will be shipped regardless of the final condition. Spacing of < 0.006” may not be free of shorting. Internal clearances from hole to copper of less than 0.020” may be shorted internally.
What files should I include in my file?
Your file should contain only the files that will be manufactured. All additional files should be removed from the file set prior to submission. These are the files that must be included with your order:
-
- Copper layers 2 or 4
- Drill file (Excellon format)
- Outline layer
- 2 solder mask layers
- Silk screen files (0,1 or 2)
- *Print notes / readme files and other such documents will be ignored
What file formats do you accept?
- We accept Gerber files in the RS274-X or RS274-D format with Excellon format Drill files.
- For file upload please .zip all of the Gerber files into a single folder.
- We do not accept board files directly from CAD tools or other compressed file types.
Can I cancel my order once it is placed?
yes you can cancel you EasyPCBUSA order, but you may be subject to a cancellation fee of up 50% if it is not yet in manufacturing. Once the order is in manufacturing the order may be cancelled but will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee. If your order is cancelled by EasyPCB for not meeting the requirements of the service, you will not be charged a cancellation fee and refunded in full. Refunds will be processed at the time of cancellation. The returned funds may not be immediately available for use, it is up to the prevailing terms of the individual bank involved as to when the funds will be made available.
How many boards can I order?
You can order any quantity from 1 to 12
What payment methods do you accept?
Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover. Debit Cards of the same types are also accepted. Debit card and credit card transactions will secure funds at time of purchase, refunds are processed at time of cancellation but the timing of the funds being available is governed by the prevailing banking terms and conditions of the individual banks.
What if my file contains slots or cutouts?
Slots and cutouts are not supported by EasyPCBUSA. If your drill file contains any slots the order will be cancelled. A round cutout that is contained in your drill file will be drilled with a single drill hit up to 0.257″. Slots or cutouts contained in the outline layer will not be included in your PCB.
Can I get non-plated holes?
All holes will be treated similarly and we cannot guarantee that a non-plated desired hole will remain non-plated. All holes will be drilled larger than specified to accommodate plating thickness and will finish within +/- 0.005″ of the design file. In order to have the best chance of receiving a non-plated hole, no copper feature can be present on the image layers in the location of those holes (you can remove the “pad” in your cad tool) and adjacent copper features such as ground planes or circuitry should be backset about 0.020″ from the hole(s) you wish to keep non-plated.
What does Run-As-Sent-Mean?
“Run as sent” is our way to describe what you should expect from your EasyPCBUSA PCBs. The design that you submit with your order is processed “as is”. We do not inspect the files to make sure that they meet the minimum requirements. If there are errors in your files they will not be caught. These can result in many different outcomes, such as missing soldermask openings, shorts, opens, routing defects. Please make sure that you inspect your files thoroughly prior to submission. Print notes, readmes and other documentation will be ignored in the process of tooling the orders.
