Avoiding Cancellations:
In order to keep costs low and pass the savings on to you, we ask that you make sure of the following conditions, otherwise your order will be cancelled and not manufactured:
- Gerber files (RS-274X preferred or RS-274D) contain all needed layers in a single compressed (.zip) file
- Drill file is in Excellon format, viewed from top of board
- Your order must contain the following
-
- 2 or 4 copper layers (no single sided designs)
- 2 soldermask layers
- 0, 1 or 2 silk screen layers
- Excellon Drill file
- Outline
- 2 or 4 copper layers (no single sided designs)
-
- Submit only your finalized Gerber files. Any changes to files after order submission will result in cancellation
- External copper layers are positive polarity (the traces and pads and everywhere you want copper to be will be represented as a color)
- Files are merged and do not require manual merging
- All files are viewed looking thorough the top of the board
- Internal layers are marked to show proper polarity. If there are not “thermal” pad connections, please indicate a polarity in the files
- Outline layer is drawn with a continuous line around board perimeter. A single board design should be submitted per order. Files that contain multiple boards (not contained in a single perimeter rout path) that are attempting to tab route will be cancelled
- Any notches need to be >0.100″ or damage to the board could occur
- Do not submit drill files that contain G85 commands, slots or holes with less than 0.012” edge to edge
- Board dimensions: designs that contain boards > 8.00” in either length or width or <0.25” in either length or width will be cancelled. The area of the board submitted cannot exceed 30 in2
- Though it will not result in a cancellation please be sure that you inspect your Gerber files in a Gerber viewer prior to submission (especially on the outline layer). The Gerber files that we received will be what is used (as is) to manufacture your PCBs. Any anomaly contained in the files will also be contained in your PCB
A cancelled order will be refunded at the time of cancellation, however these funds may not be immediately available as the prevailing banking terms and conditions of the individual bank are what dictate the timing.
